We didn't really do much last on the drive down to Wanaka, partly because the weather was raining so we couldn't stop off and do to much! We went to Lake Matheson which was pretty cool and drove acorss the bridge at the gates of haast! When we got to Wanaka a group of us went down to the park and had a game of touch rugby which was a good laugh but it bought back all the aches of the climbing and kayaking so we wern't walking to well after!! On the night I went for a BBq in the hostel bar with Juliet, Emma and Amanda! Later on the night a load of us headed back down to the bar for karoke night which was a good crack, we all got pretty hammered!!!
I'm now in Queenstown, on our way here we stopped at puzzle world which was really cool, it had all these quality optical illusions and things like that - it probably would of been even better without a raging hangover!!! We then headed in to Queenstown to Aj Hacket which is home of the bungy. We watched a video about how it all started which made me really keen to do a jump so i decided to book on a trillogy - you only live once! Basically it's three different jumps! I did my first one today over the Kawarau Bridge which was the first bungy in the world! It was quality, only 43 meters high but it was still pretty scary looking down! I did the superman jump/pose off it an i've got some quality pictures! When i hit the bottom i'd choosen to dunk straight into the water which was quality, i went in up to my waist!! The bungy was superb it gave me such a buzz, reckon i'm definately turning into an adrenaline junkie!!! I'm doing the Nevis Bungy tomorrow which is 134 meters - its the 3rd highest in the world, a whole 8 and a half seconds of pure freefall!!! Then straight after i'm going on the Nevis Arc which is like a giant swing, I think it;s the worldest highest swing! Right I best be off got a big night out tonight, Queenstown is a proper party town and the driver has got a big night out planned for us! Reckon i'm going to need it, a bit of dutch courage for tomorrow!! I'll try and get the rest of my photos up when I get chance.
