On the Sunday we arrived in Kaikoura and booked into our accomadation! Me Jack and Dom had decided that we were going to do a bit of fishing so got our driver to book something up for us. We got picked up about 1 by some bloke whose name i've now forgot and the first thing he told us that the other bloke who would be on the boat had no fingers or thumb on one hand and had a wooden leg as he'd been attacked by a shark when he was 17! I really though he was having us on - until we got on the boat!!! The fishing was pretty kool and we caught quiet a lot in a short space of time. On the way out we also saw pengiuns, sea lions and albertrose which was pretty cool! We spent just over an hour fishing where we mainly caught sea perch, however me an Jack did also manage to land a blue cod each! We got to keep everything we caught as well which was cool! On the way back in we watched as they reeled in there crayfish and we all got a crayfish each - we walked past a shop on the way back which was offering crayfish for $90 and this was during a happy hour special, so we wern't complaining about what we'd been given. We went back to the blokes house where he cooked our crayfish for us and gave us several glasses of wine! After an couple of hours we headed back to our hostel to tuck into our crayfish - which was amazing!!!! - and can on cooking the rest of what we'd caught. There wasn't much to do on the night so we just chilled out and had a few games of cards!

The next day we had to wait till 4 to get our bus back to Christchurch and there wasn't much to do at all in Kaikoura so it wasn't the most exciting of days!! When we got back to Christchurch we all got dressed up and went out for a meal together as it was our last night as a group. We then had a few drinks in our hostel bar.

I left everyone in Christchurch this morning which was pretty sad as we'd all been travelling together for a month and got pretty close group! Im in Auckland at the moment and I head to Fiji on Thursday! Unfortunately I haven't been able to put my pics up again because the website isn't working again so i'll try again 2mz! I've also lost my memory stick which had everyone elses pics on which is a pain, so i'll just have to get them to send them me on a disk when we get back home! My time in New Zealand has been quality, I would probably go as far to say it's the best country i've been to so far!!! Anyway I hope your all well and i'll speak to you soon!
