We had an easy drive from Kununurra, 100kms to Wyndham. We went sightseeing around town. Drove down to the pier, past the old meat works and the working Wharf. At the wharf they had cattle ready to be loaded onto a ship and a heap of mahogany trunks cut from Kununurra. The Chinese have harvested the mahogany and shipping it back to China for furniture. Millions of dollars of timber waiting to be exported.
Drove up to the lookout and waited for the breathtaking Kimberley sunset. While waiting for the sunset, the view was one of the best that we have seen while not in a plane. There was about 25 other vehicles up on top of the lookout with us, to experience this amazing view. We camped the night on top of Wyndham, woke to breathtaking views.
