6.52 am glourious sunrise as we leave Karijini and make our way up to Broome. We filled up at Munjina roadhouse this place is red and dusty. We are the only car here, the roadtrains pulling in are really impressive. The road to Port Hedland is full of activity even more roadtrains. It was amazing to see how much work is going on here in our state. So we popped the C.B on listening to the truckies was pretty entertaining.
We arrived at Cape Keraudren which we found on the app wicky camps! very fab app. We were greeted by the new ranger Stuie, his 12 wk old joey Tulla and a Bungarra ( MASSIVE lizard Mum!) just laying on the grass. Once we'd set up camp we went for a wallk along the beach and explored some of the little rockpools. We saw loads of crazy crabs,a massive mudcrab even a little occy very cool. The girls enjoyed finding beautiful shells and we saw what we think were osyter stacks! The mangrove trees are beautiful. they have hollow trunks and are so green. In the water we could see lots of jumping fish which appeared to be hunting. Our veiw of the sunset tonight fantastic, it set so quickly, seemed to go down in seconds.
