We flew through the Nullabor in two days, only stopping for fuel, camera stops and a fun night at Madura Pass, where the showers were hot and the bar was friendly.
Esperance/ Cape LeGrand is a beach bums heaven delight. We camped across from the beach at a great park. The girls made friends straight away playing on the park. Managed to squeeze in a few walks along the beach nice and early before anyone awoke.
Lucky bay is by far the best beach I've ever been on. We were welcomed by 4 Kangaroos as we stepped on the beach. The sand is pure white and squeaky. The water is every shade aqua blue and crystal clear. LeGrande was Kevs favourite beach mainly because beach highways have become a favourite way to travel! The animals also welcomed us the minute we pulled on to the sand. Only this time it was a large playful pod of dolphins. Beautiful. We found a lovely quite secluded area of beach where we had lunch, a swim and siesta. We stayed on the beach to drive back into town always so much fun, especially when the car starts bouncing! Always gives the girls a good giggle. Another one of my favourite beaches and a definite must, is Twilight beach. This beach was perfect for families/ dogs and surfers.
Taylor Tea room is a fab little pub with great live music and funky art work.
I would highly recommend south coast ink for a tattoo. Jenelle did both Mine and Kevs. However both artist are extremely creative and talented. Lilly Allen's it not me it you album got me through my piece!!!
