On our way back from Cobber Pedy to Streaky bay, we stopped off for a few nights at the very lovely but extremely windy Tumbly bay! Lots of kite surfing here, lovely walks along the beach, I even managed a peaceful cuppa at the beach side cafe while the girls rode go karts and Kev had a nanna nap! Simple! Me + wine = Happy... Found a great park in Tanunda. Family friendly the girls made lots of friends and spent most of the evening bouncing the jumping pillow and practising flips. Tanunda is in the heart of the Barossa valley. Made for perfect access to all the cellar doors and Maggie Beers farm. We've had a brilliant 4 days here. Strathalbyn is a Quaint town with charming antique shops and funky homeware. Beautiful old buildings and pubs only a stroll from the caravan park. We visited Hahndorf easily from here, such a scenic easy drive and no traffic! Hahndorf is a quirky German village, where the German settlers came in the 1800's and built their own community.
