Whoa... Such a cool stop. Here at Mt Suprise, we stayed 2 nights at planet earth adventures. We had heard about the volcanoes here so went for a walk around them at undura national park. The volcanoes erupted 20000 yrs ago and created lava tubes under the ground.
Back at camp we were all made very welcome by the host Russell lovely guy. He has 7 snakes here which he introduced us all too! We all held Clancy a 3mtr 19yr back headed python, then we met Wendy the carpet python who was hungry and ate a rat. We all watched fascinated. Russell told us that in Australia we have 21 different species of the most venomous snakes in the world! And the top 11 straight up! However pythons are none venomous so we were safe!! Hehe. Great, fun to be here and educational too!
