We have truly enjoyed the last ten months here on Hammo. The girls both settled into school well. Candeece was extremely lucky catching the cruise whitsunday ferry each morning to school and even luckier to see whales most afternoons during whale season.
We've enjoyed this luxurious lifestyle so very much, living on a tropical island oh my!! Scrumptious restaurants, Co Ca Chu and Mikaylas favourite Romandos, and Qualia. Our funzone Friday nights at Sails. We've enjoyed the Great Barrier Reef, snorkelling off catseye beach with the sea turtles that were the same size as me! Fishing off the jetty at the bottom of our road. The stunning sunsets each night from our balcony at harbour veiw with the random firework sky-shows and thousands of bats that flew by each night at dusk. The thousands of butterfly's. Sunset sails on The Edge, Avt tours through the national park, beach hopping, the strenuous climb to passage peak with it's incredible view, Dent Island golf course and long lazy lunches at the club house, drinks at sporties then off to Captins nightclub for a boogie! Speaking of which... Driving golf buggies everywhere is such a novelty. My list just just keep going. Race week was fantastic a week jam packed with fun, fun, fun. Fashions shows, lady's lunch at Co Ca Chu followed by champagne on the bombie deck of yacht club. Catching rides in audis from place to place. I was luckily enough to do the hair for the Henry Lloyd fashion show. Each night front street came alive with food stalls, live music and lots of dancing. Street party's were enjoyed by young and old and could be heard all night long!
Filming "Pirates of the Carribean " caused a lot of excitement and I loved feeling part of it all.
We were blessed with 3 beautiful visitors here Gorgeous Georgia, Brian and Sophia.
We have met and made some wonderful friends here and it will be sad to leave although I'm excited to finish the road trip, mixed emotions about it all.
