B & J`s Adventures
This island has a public mooring area owned by the country. We were told to visit it by HSK owner and not to be put of by the entrance. The charts say it's only a meter deep but are wrong. It's an amazing place as its down about a mile through reeds and trees then it opens out into a lagoon where the boats can tie up. No rubbish can be left on the islands so they will loan you a long boat to row to the mainland, only a short distance. This fell to Brenda and Marieanne who managed it much better than we thought. We enjoyed a walk round through the woods. The forest has more Oak trees than other parts of Finland. After an ice cream and a drink in the shop we had a barbecue on board.
