Another amazing morning in Agnes Waters! We had our usual campers breakfast, scrambled eggs and beans with a nice cup of tea, and headed to the surf school 'Reef 2 Beach'. We were both soooo excited! It was $17 for 3 hours which was incredible and at the end you have an actual Diploma in Surfing!!! We walked down to the beach to grab our rash vests and surf boards! We then had to buddy up with someone, I wasn't sure who to go with....oh yea Sarah! We had three amazing hours out on the waves, they were huge! I managed to stand quite a few times and got some awesome pictures! Sarah was really good too as it was her first time! I could have stayed out there all day, I completely forgot about food, drink, suncream and all that practical stuff, I was loving life! After all that surfing we headed for a smoothie, and showers. However, the public showers were just horrendous, with cockroaches everywhere! We weren't allowed to use the campsite showers as we had already checked out! So we went to the cafe on the front who I knew had keys to the campsite toilets and showers. I asked if I could use the toilet and they gave me the keys!! There was my chance! I dashed over to the shower block and showered so fast I even put my shampoo and conditioner on at the same time! I felt so illegal! I put my clothes back on wet, and causally walked back over to the cafe to return the keys. Literally as soon as I walked through the door the owner said to me "have you just been for a shower!". I was like a deer in headlights and spluttered out "...oh yea, why is that not allowed?" Anyway she gave me a good telling off and I felt like a right hippie, I'll do anything for a clean shower! Sarah was gutted though as it meant she couldn't use them after me, although she was pleased she didn't get the telling off as she would have been upset for days! Anyway, after all that drama, we got back into the van and headed to 1770! It was absolutely mind blowing, 300 degree views of pure open ocean! We stopped of for a drink at one of the beach front bars, made a wrap each from our fridge, and sat and watched the sunset! What another amazing day we had! We left Agnes Waters and headed to our next destination 4 hours away, Noosa Beach!
