Barcelona, Spain
The flight from Bilbao to Barcelona was very bumpy. Huge winds were still playing havoc, and they even cancelled the food service on the flight. The seat belt sign was never turned off. Potes, Spain
Such a wonderful drive from Bilbao to Santander. Plenty of lush green fields. From Santander the road heads inland and gets very tight and twisty. There is a gorge along the way, and it offers some stunning scenery, but the road is so narrow and tight, plus there is no where to stop and take pictures. Bilbao, Spain
Its an early start to make the 8am train to Bilbao. The trip is especially scenic as we get close to Bilbao. The only way to cover the places i want to visit, i have to get a rental car. The first day i head to Pamplona via Parque Natural Urbasa y Andía. The park has a beautiful river with incredible blue water pools. Pamplona is where the running of the bulls takes place. Madrid, Spain
The trip from Valencia to Madrid was by the fast train, 300kph fast. Madrid is just a 2 night stay before heading north to Bilbao. I have been to Madrid before with Alan, so have seen a fair bit of Madrid. But this time i am staying north of the city, so this area is new to me.
