Brenton Kovacs's Travels
Its an early start to make the 8am train to Bilbao. The trip is especially scenic as we get close to Bilbao. The only way to cover the places i want to visit, i have to get a rental car.
The first day i head to Pamplona via Parque Natural Urbasa y Andía. The park has a beautiful river with incredible blue water pools.
Pamplona is where the running of the bulls takes place. Interesting little town.
Next stop is San Sebastian, on the north coast of Spain. Unfortunately the weather was not the best, but after doing some reading i knew the weather will be an issue. San Sebastian is a neat town with some great view points around the bay.
The next day is pretty much non stop rain, so i head into the city centre and do some sight seeing here. The Guggenheim Museum is and interesting structure, covered with sheets of titanium. Bilbao is a nice place to walk around and well laid out with plenty of green space.
My next stop is a little village called Potes. It is in the middle of the Picos De Europa national park. Its about 250ks to the west of Bilbao.
