We did a beach clean and between the family we got about 1400 pieces of litter! After that, we had a really nice rocky road and then had lunch at Dylan's, a really nice restaurant-with really nice food. Then we came back and had a lovely evening playing at the campsite. Words by Megan

Early start to make sure we made it to the 5k park run at the Conwy RSPB reserve. The route was great as had stunning views of Conwy Castle and the estuary. We had decided to have a quiet morning on the campsite and then head out exploring this afternoon but a flat battery scuppered the plans and we spent the afternoon hiding out from the rain in Bob waiting for a mechanic. New battery sorted and we decided that we needed to get out even though it was still raining and hiked a couple of miles down the valley to the next village for dinner, burning it all off on the climb back to Bob!

"That was cool!" was the reaction from Daniel as we left Howey Hedgehog Rescue Centre at lunchtime having spent the morning cleaning and feeding rescued hedgehogs. It was a fascinating glimpse into the workings of a wildlife rescue centre run by a dedicated couple and a small team of volunteers.
