One last mini edventure this summer - we're starting to see the end of the year fast approaching and so there were mixed feelings as we set out this time, but it is good to be exploring new places again and we're going to try and cram as much in as we can - hopefully without completely wearing us all out before the end of the summer....

We started in Wales with a day in Cardiff - a city that none of us had visited before - and spent the morning cycling the Taff Trail and exploring Castle Coch where the Worst Witch was recently filmed and trying to find fairies hidden around the castle.

After lunch we cycled back to the city and had a quick look around and visited the Cardiff Story museum where M&D had the opportunity to design their own city.

We then hopped back on the bikes and cycled past the Millenium Stadium and Cardiff Arms Park before reaching the Cardiff Bay area and Roald Dahl Plass where there was a beach and a funfair set up for the summer to finish the day. I'm sure that there is a lot more to see in Cardiff but we felt that we managed to cram enough into our day to get a flavour of the place (and successfully wear the grown-ups out)!
