"That was cool!" was the reaction from Daniel as we left Howey Hedgehog Rescue Centre at lunchtime having spent the morning cleaning and feeding rescued hedgehogs. It was a fascinating glimpse into the workings of a wildlife rescue centre run by a dedicated couple and a small team of volunteers. We were glad to have helped (even a tiny bit) and all came away full of admiration for the people who dedicate their lives to this - and very grateful for our chocolate hedgehog rewards!

We then spent the afternoon at the Llangorse activity centre where M&D got rid of some energy climbing, caving, bouldering and abseiling and we caught up on some jobs whilst admiring the beautiful view over the lake!
