A very long day today....
An early start to get to the "I am Team GB" event at Gateshead International Stadium by 8.30. Loads of fun trying lots of different sports, meeting Olympians and even doing a tresure trail which we won- a free swim in Gateshead before the end of October!
Then off to Bishop Auckland and Kynren - a stunning portrayal of the history of England. Very impressed with everyone tonight as it was a 2.5 mile walk to the showground and 2.5 miles home in the pitch black through the woods in the rain and no-one complained - even after such a long day... to bed at 11.30, phew.
