We were planning to get to the Viking Center early this morning but it took us far too long to get moving this morning, our first day without a long drive ahead of us, and it was almost lunchtime before we arrived and so we spent a few hours racing around the Viking settlement trying to squeeze in as many Viking activities as possible.... We left Germany first thing this morning for the drive North into Denmark. It was a fairly unremarkable drive with lots of lane closures reminding us of the M3 and home and so we were all pleased to eventually pull into Ribe Camping, buy their last loaf of bread, park up on a huge grassy pitch 100m away from an epic playground, have a quick lunch and start living life Danishly.
