Made the short drive to Badlands NP via the Wall Drug Store which is a tourist attraction in the middle of nowhere. Badlands is strange as most of the North is very green, ecspecially around Badlands but the park itself is like shallow canyons and rocks. It was once a sea. Arrived in Rapid City (just outside Black Hills) expecting to find a hotel very quickly and cheap.
