We thought Chicago would be a bit rough and dirty but in reality it is an amazing city which has some really nice beaches, loads of shopping and plenty of bars and resturants.

The downtown area is very similar to Manhattan but alot bigger and right in the middle of downtown are some beaches. We had no idea Chicago had beaches until we got lost and found one. So after an afternoon on the beach we headed in search of Pizzeria Uno which is where the original Chicago Pizza Pie was created. They take 45 minutes to make from scratch but are well worth the wait. We ate half a medium pizza between us and couldnt eat any more. Finished the night at navy Pier which has a few bars etc and some rides.

Next day we went straight to the Willis Tower which is the tallest tower in the US. A very quick elevator ride took us 1,350 feet in the air for some amazing views. We also braved the 'Sky Ledge' which is 4 clear boxes hanging off the side of the building. Standing in one is a very strange feeling ecspecially if you look below your feet. After we went to Grant park which has some really cool art including 'the bean' where we spent ages taking pictures. We had one last stop via the subway in tiny Greek Town before heading back!!!!!!!!
