Last stop in California was at the Redwood National park to look at some big trees. Very big, about 300ft and very old, up to 1000 years old. Arrived in Napa and went straight out to get our wine on. Napa Valley is a 30 mile loop with over 500 wineries so we didnt have to look far. To describe San Francisco is very difficult, other than saying it was a bit hilly. It is not every day that you can say that you have seen a Blue Whale.....today was one of those days. Before we actually got to Monterey Bay we drove the Big Sur scenic route (the Pacific Coastal Road). LA is huge, so attempted to see as many districts as possible (excluding Compton etc). Went to Venice Beach which is also known as a human freakshow, and didnt dissapoint. Among many amazing sights we saw a man in black speedos carring a tribal stick and an electric guitar playing black man on rollerblades.
