Our overnight train came on time! When we arrived in calcutta, it was a bit of a shock. One because it was so insanely hot and humid, and two because it is so much more developed and modern. They have loads of yellow taxis- NY style. We arrived at our hotel, which is pretty nice. After we dumped our stuff we went for a wonder and managed to pick up a guide book. For lunch me and Emily had one of these wrap/roll things which they sell a lot. They are so yummy and ...

So we get to the train station in pleanty of time, only to find that our train is apparently coming at 8:05 am when its supposed to be at 11:20 pm. Very annoyed we go and ask and the guy tells us that the board is wrong, and its only 15/20 minutes late. Much happier we head to the platform and wait. And wait a bit more. and wait a bit more. After a while we decided to go and check the board again. Still it say 8:00 amm and when we ask the guy again, he says that ...

So after our 6/7 hour taxi drive we finally arrived in Agra. Its pretty nice but at some point the traffic is even worse than Delhi!! We've seen a good few lorries hurtkling towards us while were stuck in a tiny Auto! The hotel here looks pretty nice from the outside , but the room itself is TINY, we can only just squeeze open the door to the box that is the bathroom!! And its my turn to sleep on the floor. I must admit though, after a few days, its not really so...

So we made both our trains and arrived in sawai madhopur. It's definitely the most rural place we've been, Its main attraction is the tiger reserve. Our hotel is very small, but clean and the people are friendly. It's just the rooftop restaurant is more like really slow service and a couple of tables on the roof. Although being the most rural, this place is so loud!!! There were two or three weddings going on right near our hotel, and they are not a small affair ...

So we actually made our train this time!! Despite a very long wait for breakfast we got to the station about an hour before. Jaipur station was much less crowded than delhi, and easier to get around which was good. I didn't really know what to expect on the train, we saw people crowding on and off, while the train was still moving! But when we got on our train, there was loads of space, the seats were like airplane seats and we even got served tea and biscuits!! ...
