So we made both our trains and arrived in sawai madhopur. It's definitely the most rural place we've been, Its main attraction is the tiger reserve. Our hotel is very small, but clean and the people are friendly. It's just the rooftop restaurant is more like really slow service and a couple of tables on the roof. Although being the most rural, this place is so loud!!! There were two or three weddings going on right near our hotel, and they are not a small affair and go on until about 5 in the morning!! After a half nights sleep, even with earplugs (on the one day we could have a lie in!! >:( ) we headed to ranthambore fort (the second largest in India). The guy from the hotel took us and did a bit of a safari tour thing as you have to drive through the tiger reserve to get to the fort. We saw loads of monkeys an peacocks but sadly no tigers :( the next day we went on a proper "tiger safari". Me and Emily had to get up at half four in the morning just to get our tickets and it was freezing!! Luckily when we got there, someone was selling masala tea so it made the cold a tad more bearable!! the safari was quite good but we kept stoping for ages. At first it was good, we got to see all the animals, but there is only so long you can look at a crocodile for, so it did get a little bit boring :/ sadly we didnt get to see a tiger this time either. Then we headed back to get some breakfast before our 7 hour taxi to Agra, which was nice and comfy so it wasn't too bad.
