So after a pretty short flight, we arrived in KL. They had duty free on the arivals side of the airport so we went and bought some normal tasting chocolate!! Then after queuing for an age for immigration, we a bus to KL sentral and then got on the LRT (like the metro) which stopped super close to our hostel. The hostel was really nice, everyone in our room was lovely, there was toast for breakfast and tea and coffee 24/7! :) That first night we were pretty tired so headed out to have a look around central market and grab some food. The next day we had a bit of a lie in, the got a 24hr hop on hop off bus pass- it stops at about 23 different sights around the city which was good. We got the bus to the Kl tower, on the way stopping to see the palace. We ended up going to see the Petronas twin towers first, which were just insane- they looked really cool! There was a very swish shopping centre connected to it so we had a wonder around there and grabbed some lunch before getting back on the bus to the KL tower. Typically it started tipping it down, so by the time we got to the KL tower, we were soaked and the view wasnt as amazing, but was still pretty awesome! You got a 360 view of the city! :) We headed back to the hostel and chilled before dinner. The next day we planned to get up really early but overslept and ended up going to the bird park later. The bird park was ok, it was saved by a bird show at the end where some birds talked and could add up etc. Then we got a taxi back to the hostel and that evening had a wonder around China town, which was pretty massive and quite cool! We had some yummy dinner there and then had a wonder around the shops before heading back for our early start the next day.
