We've survived...just!!
So we finally arrived in Delhi, and it took us a good two and a half hours to get from the airport (when it should take about 45 minutes!) we may have been half scammed by a "government taxi", although it was very cheap they drove us around for an hour, in the completely wrong area of Delhi!! Then the four of us got saved by a rickshaw driver, but we squished all of us and our MASSIVE bags and hand luggage, in this tiny rickshaw, with crazy driving (there is NO POINT in having any road markings!!), but we all survived! After getting to the right area at last, we got sent to a tourist office, which again is a tad of a scam! We managed to escape and met George, who ha been stuck in two of the "tourist offices" for two hours!! He also managed to escape an we then trekked around to find the hotel Emily had booked for us, luckily she was having lunch in a rooftop cafe and saw us! Let's just say we were very happy to see her! Then we went for lunch and went to the train station to book some more train tickets. There was a massive queue but luckily it meant we could almost have a nap (I think I've had about an hour and a half sleep since we left :( ). We're going out for dinner later and then we can finally get some sleep! Except now there is a lizard on the ceiling of our room....
