So we actually made our train this time!! Despite a very long wait for breakfast we got to the station about an hour before. Jaipur station was much less crowded than delhi, and easier to get around which was good. I didn't really know what to expect on the train, we saw people crowding on and off, while the train was still moving! But when we got on our train, there was loads of space, the seats were like airplane seats and we even got served tea and biscuits!! Very impressed. We then got a taxi from Ajmer to pushkar as its only half an hour away. I was a bit dubious about where we're staying, because it's the cheapest we've stayed in, but it's actually the nicest!! It's really quirky ad comfortable and we even have free wifi :) weve seen a load of animals here, peacocks, warthogs and monkeys. We went for a wonder after lunch, although pushkar is really small, it's really quaint, nice for a bit of shopping. McAll stayed behind for a rest and apparently a monkey appeared on our balcony. Luckily she had jut shut the door or we would have had to resort to gazzas plan of luring it out with biscuits! We went to see pushkar lake, which was going ok until Emily had a bit of an argument with some guy about carrying our shoes!! We went to a really nice hotel for dinner, we got very lost but they did the nicest lemon tart and seasonal crumble!! The next day we got up at half five :O!! To go for a walk to a place with really good views of the sunrise. Again we got lost, although I think people are trying to help, when they don't know the way the point you in whatever direction. One man did send his dog with us though, which was interesting, but it stayed with us for ages and even got rid of a load of stray dogs who were quite scary and not too happy to see us. We didn't get to the place in time but we still managed to get a pretty good view of the sun rising through the mountains which was really nice. When we got back we had toast nutella sandwich's (which was amazing) and then did a bit more shopping so we could post stuff home. We were going to go and see some temples but we were all a bit tired so decided to have a rest before our two hour camel ride. The camel ride was amazing! We got to see the sunset and the views were lovely. The guy on my camel also got it to run crazily fast- most terrifying but amazing thing! My camel was called baby krishna, and was colourfully decorated and very cute!! This morning we went to have a look around a few temple and did some last minute shopping. We then headed back to Ajmer to get a train back to Jaipur and then a train to sawai madhopur, we made both trains in plenty of time- were getting pretty good at this!
