Not a lot to report today.
We left Jabiru and the Kakadu National Park and headed to Darwin.
After reading all the Wiki reviews and comments for different options we selected the FreeSpirit Resort to stay at for the next few days. A little further out and a little bit more expensive, however 3 pools, a jumping pillow and bar and bistro held sway in this heat.
After setting up we booked a few tours over the next few days (cannot reveal these as yet however tune in for Friday's edition - Jack is especially looking forward to this one), then headed in to town for an initial look around and some supplies.
Cracker dinner - BBQ cooked Barra, Scallops, Prawns and crispy Prawn Heads went down a treat.
Wondered what was going on after dinner when lots of planes seem to be flying by, when this did not stop we decided to refer to Dr Google - seems we are lucky enough to be in Darwin for the Royal Australian Airforce Exercise Pitch Black 2016 where 110 aircraft from around the globe train in the dark. Not real considerate when we were trying to sleep!
