Busselton, Geographe Bay WA, where you can walk out on the longest jetty in the Southern Hemisphere. It's 1.8 klms long and at the end there is an underwater observatory which is accessed by an internal spiral staircase. The jetty has a curve built into it so when the new one was built it would meet up with the old jetty.
There is a small train which runs the full length of the jetty which seems to be a bit of a hit with the international tourists.
