Arrived Derby, saw Derby, leaving Derby tomorrow.
Not a lot to keep us here. went for a walk along the local jetty which has 11 metre high tides, but when they are out the place is just a great big mud wasteland. This morning was high tide so a barge was in loading supplies to take to the small towns and communties dottted along the coast.
Headed a little way out of town to see the Boab Prison Tree which hs a lot of history and is said to be about 1,000 years old, by scientific estimations, then to the poineer cemetry to see a bit more history, then fuelled up ready to go tomorrow. Starting to head east now which means we must be making a slow turn towards home (maybe).
The next few stops will be Fitzroy crossing, Halls Creek and into Kununurra. Will be in touch when we have wifi.
