After breakfast we made our way north to Cowes to look at Osborne House. This is also a favourite place for Les and Iris as they have visited many times. Today Trevor, Dee, John and I travelled to the Isle of Wight for a 3 day break. The car trip to the ferry at Portsmouth took less than 30 minutes. Although it is overcast there is no rain and the weather is warm. We made the 45 min ferry trip to Fishbourne. Dee has a full day of hairdressing to day so Trevor took us out for the day. Dee left about 8am for her rounds. Trevor took John and me to Arundel to look at the castle there. Dee was up early today preparing lunch for her dad, Les, Trevor's mum, Iris and us. She cooked a roast with Yorkshire puddings and roast vegetables. Today was a big clean-up day and a working day for Dee. There was lots of washing to do and put away all the clothes, food and equipment that had been put in the lounge room. Trevor, John and Paul returned the hire car and camper which took the better part of the morning. Meanwhile Dee had her first client at 9pm for a haircut and blow wave and then had a young lady to do for her prom today. She left here at about 12.30 for that and didn't return till 7.30pm....
