Dee was up early today preparing lunch for her dad, Les, Trevor's mum, Iris and us. She cooked a roast with Yorkshire puddings and roast vegetables. She really enjoys cooking and makes very nice meals.

Trevor picked up Les and Iris to enjoy an afternoon with their family. Iris was shown photos of our holiday in Italy but Les has been keeping up to date with the blogs and really enjoys reading them and looking at the photos. He has fond memories of his time in Italy with his wife and had many stories to tell. It was great hearing about them.

Everyone enjoyed the meal particularly the rhubarb crumble and custard. The rhubarb was freshly cut from the garden this morning. It couldn't be any fresher.

Trevor then took Les and Iris home whilst Dee and I sorted the dishes.

It was a relaxing day for us but a busy day for Dee.
