I am so tired! I think I'm coming down with something! I really do not feel very well! Maybe it's because we have done so much travelling recently and so much more to do! Literally slept all day and still felt tired!

Got back to the room, got ready and we went to meet Lee, Toni, Matt an John at The Social Club at 8.30!
We then got a taxi to snake village! I forgot I agreed to eating snake last night while drunk! Absolutely dreading it! It is called this as locals used to catch and eat the wild snakes here, people then started coming to do this and now there is many restaurants that only sell snake. This is where we are going...
We were the only ones in the restaurant, they had big cages with snakes in and smaller box cages with dangerous snakes in! Im bricking it believe me! What if ones on the loose!
The first snake he showed us was a common one, it was slithering around like nobody's business but the owner had hold of its tail and had a hook to control it! This one cost 2000000 dong (£60).
We asked to see another one and he whipped out a cobra! An actual real life, staring me down, about to pounce cobra! This one cost 3000000 dong (£90) which we couldn't really afford!
So we went with the first one, there is 6 of us so it works out to be £10 each which I don't mind paying as its an experience!
The guy got the first snake back out, grabbed a knife and sliced the poor thing open and let its beating heart just hang there while he drained the blood. He cut the heart out and it was still beating!! I won't be messing with this guy!!!
Went upstairs to be seated! It's a pretty beaut restaurant but it's got reptile things everywhere! Very scary! For he money we each get 11 dishes of snake done in different ways!
They brought us each a shot glass with snake blood in! Oh my! I'm such a vampire! No one will believe I'm vegetarian now! Haha they mix it with vodka so you can only taste that! We then had gall bladder fluid in vodka! This looked green and I didn't really want to think about it so just downed it!
Matt swallowed the still beating heart! It had been 15 minutes since it was cut out and he didn't chew it so it was still beating inside of him! Rank! But what a story to tell! Maybe he will turn bionic? Like spider man but snake man?
The other 9 dishes we had were; stir fry vegetable snake, snake in banana leaf, snake spring rolls, snake bone shavings, fried snake skin, snake wrapped in egg, pineapple snake, snake pancake and snake soup.
Seriously I think I'm 50% snake now! I tried every one but didn't have loads as the others liked them and would keep eating but I just wanted to say I had tried it. Some of them tasted rubbery, crunchy or soft it depended on how they were cooked. It tasted of what it was cooked in as well. Michael said it tastes of pork.
After our snake feast I felt seriously sick, we went to Maos bar for a drink! Mao wasn't even there, so we left to meet him at GC! After a couple of drinks I felt better! Never eating snake again!
It was packed, to hot and crowded! After one beer we all went to Temple Bar! We havnt been here before! Everywhere is always packed every night! Full to the roof with travellers! Everyone was wrecked and it's so smokey everywhere!
We had a few drinks here before going home, we didn't even dance tonight as the dance floor was far too hot!! We were sweating sat down!
Around 1:30 me, Matt and Lee walked to Maos bar! Mao is so lovely! Everyone loves him! We have decided to open a gay bar in Hanoi as there is only one! This would be my dream come true! Rainbow walls, Beyonce on repeat, cocktails and being surrounded by homo's! haha!
At about 3 it was still chucking it down! Lee walked me home bless her! The receptionist has loved me coming in at stupid o'clock all week! Haha
