Day 23!
I started this day out very very early, 3:30 AM to be exact. Our flight left at 7:00 that morning. We headed to the airport through security and waited. I had probably the best donut in my life for breakfast, or I could have really just wanted a donut. Once it was time to load, we were put on a bus that took us out on to the runway where we climbed steps to get on board. After arriving at Gatwick, we boarded a train and then took the Tube to Kings Cross Station where we waited some more. I got to see Platform 9 3/4 while we waited and almost bought an official Harry Potter wand. Then I looked at the price tag and walked away. We then boarded a train and went home to our own Hogwarts.
Later that night, I got to hear about all the different places people went. From Scotland to Ireland to Iceland to Germany, we had people just about everywhere, and each had amazing stories to share.
Though I was now freezing to death, having to adjust back to English weather, I was glad to be back, but I also really missed Spain.
I loved that my trip wasn't all that touristy but was really a trip centered around culture. I went to see beautiful things, hear a beautiful language, and most importantly eat fantastic food. Based on that, my trip was successful, and I would do it again in a heartbeat.
