Day 4!
What do you know... It rained in England again. I decided to buy me a sweatshirt today while the rest of my family and friends are sporting tank-tops and swimsuits. I will definitely be looking forward to warm weather when I return home.
Today, I went to class where we briefly discussed the history of theatre and were assigned our projects for the term. Oh, yeah that's right. I am in a class. Guess it's not a dream after all! I was slightly disappointed to learn that we would not be seeing Phantom of the Opera while I was here and instead several plays I have never heard of. Yet, I am optimistic, and hopefully, these will become my new favorites. Well.. maybe not! Haha.
Afterwards, we switched gears and hopped on a coach to go bowling! I was amazed that the entire building was decorated like the 50's and was blasting American music. I actually forgot I was in England for awhile, and then someone would walk by, and the accent would bring me back. Honestly, I can't get enough of them! I'm not going to mention my first game of bowling. Anyone who knows me knows that's not my strongest skill to say the least. But, I proudly bowled a 103 the second game!
To the end the night, my friends and I began to plan our weekend in London. I truly can't believe that we will be heading there this weekend. I've seen so many photos, but to actually see it in person is so exciting!
Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings, as long as that isn't more rain!
