Onwards to River Valley, a beautiful scenic lodge where we spent one night. Our first evening was spent in the outside hot tub overlooking the river and a lovely waterfall. Thye following day we were up and back in our sexy wetsuits complete with fleeces and off to start our white water rafting adventure. All in all we faced eight grade five rapids - which out of control (our team name) faced with flair and skill (NOT);). We could not get down any of the rapids without getting stuck or speeding down them backwards. Our poor guide Janie got so annoyed with us by the end of the trip that she purposely tipped the raft and we all ended up underneath - v scary - except Round who was practically perfect at it in every way! We all did a rock jump into the water and it was really high and everyone was really impressed with Bennett as she was AMAZING at it :) At the end of the trip from nowhere Stu one of the guys we have made really great friends with lunged at D and pushed her backwards and she fell into the water and Stu went in with her - v funny! All in all an amazing day, another extreme sport ticked off the list.
