09/01/2010 - On our way to cairns we stopped off at Johnstone River Crocodile Park where we got to hold a baby crocodile, a snake, a parrot and various other animals all for free which was even better!! I was so scared when i was holding the snake because its head started coming up towards mine and the keeper was nowhere to be seen so i was stuck with it!! All was ok though. 07/01/2010 We got a ferry back to townsville to get the bus to Mission Beach, we had a really annoying driver who didnt stop talking for the whole journey. We arrived at the hostel in the afternoon and checked in, it was a really nice hostel and the staff were really helpful. 04/01/2010 We had to get up at 7.30 to get the bus to townsville, once we arrived there we got on the ferry to take us over to Magnetic Island. Once we got there we had to get on a local bus to the hostel wich was quite difficult with our big backpacks on. 29/12/2009 - We had to be up and ready to leave the cattle station by 7 oclock in the morning. They had cooked us beans on toast for breakfast but i didnt fancy it that early. 28/12/2009 - We had the worst nights sleep in Town of 1770 as the girl on the bed next to me snored the loudest i have ever heard anyone snore in my life, also a bloke on the top bunk managed to fall out of his bunk twice in the night and he was so drunk he didnt even wake up!!
