04/01/2010 We had to get up at 7.30 to get the bus to townsville, once we arrived there we got on the ferry to take us over to Magnetic Island. Once we got there we had to get on a local bus to the hostel wich was quite difficult with our big backpacks on. Our hostel was really nice on first impresions as it was right on the beach and had a really nice pool with palm tree everywhere. The hostel had nothing around it and the nearest shop was 20 minute walk so we put our bags down and went. It was so hot we decided to get supplies for all the days so we didnt have to do the walk again. Me and Louisa were goin to do the dive course but after we found out all the hiden cost we decided not to. so for the rest of the day we just chilled out by the pool and had a quite evening.

Day 2 05/01/2010 It was a little cloudy when we woke up and it had been rainning during the night, we went and had our free breakfast wich we got for staying at the hostel, and then went on the internet. after we were done it was brilliant sunshine so we headed to the pool. We stayed by the pool all day and our tans were looking good by the end of the day, louisa tanned more in one day than she had for 3 months!! We went to the bar after dinner and they opened the pool table up for free so we just played pool all night!!

Day 3 06/01/2010 We were goin to hire a car to drive around the island today but it was quite expensive and not really worth it so we just chilled around the pool again. in the evening it was ladies night at the bar and all the girls got free champagne, but the bar was dead so we didnt stay long.
