In Queenstown I wasnt doing any of the activities such as bungy jumping, skydiving or skiing during the day but it seemed my nights were going to be pretty busy!! Queenstown was the place where slowly one by one the group I had been travelling with would split up and go our separate ways.
The first night was Aarons last night. We were all feeling tired after the night in the car but we still went out for some goodbye drinks in Altitude bar. The next night was Michelle, Sam and Megans last night so once again out we went . The boys went to watch Rugby whilst the girls went on a bar crawl organised by the hostel at 9pm. To show we were on the bar crawl we had to wear a moustache! We were looking good! Ihad also curled my hair as I plenty of time during the day. On the bar crawl we visited 5 bars and got 5 free shots. We met some other nice people from our hostel also. As part of the bar crawl we were blindfolded and had to walk to the next pub holding on to the shoulders of the person infront. They also had a competition, the first person to run down the pier and jump into the lake would get a free bungy. About five boys tried, two of them did it completely naked!! I bet it was freezing! The bar crawl ended up in world bar where we met the boys and had some teapots. It was a really good night and was sad to see Michelle go.
Thankfully the next night no one was leaving and it was movie night at the hostel so we stayed in and watched two Batman films back to back.
The next night we were back on thetown. We started off in a bar called Cowboys. It was great they gave you cowboy hats to wear and free pizza! From there we headed to Altitude bar once again. There I saw Sarah and Aiden, who had just got engaged before heading to the World bar once again.
The following night was quite a few peoples last night including mine as although I would be coming back to Queenstown everyone would have gone by then. So once again we visited Altitude and World bar.
Apart from going out lots I did walk around the town during the day, went to the lake and the park gardens. I attempted to play frisbe golf! I also sampled thier fishand chips and the famous Ferg Burgers!!
It was a great five days (or should that be nights!)
