Just outside Queens town we stopped for some people to do a bungy jump on the worlds first ever bungy jump. At 47m it is quite small these days but it can be a water touch bungy. Tom, Ray, Ian and Kat did it. We all stood at the side and watched and cheered them on. Afterwards we stopped at a fruit stall for a picnic lunch. I bought some oranges, it was nice to have some fruit for a cange.
When we got to Queenstown we had a group photo infront of the lake. We made a human pyramid where the boys layed on the floor and then another row layed on top and then another row so it looked like a wall of faces. I luckily was on the top row so I didnt have anyone on top of me. We then checked into Nomads hostel and had dinner. That night Josh had a few deals lined up for us in the bars as our welcome to Queenstown Party.
First of all we went to Altitude bar (the one where the England Rugby Players went!!) We had 2 for 1 drinks all night. The rugby match was on so most people were watching that to start with. It was Australia playing and I found a very nice Australian to talk to. After the rugby the bar staff made a Jager train. There were 50 half full glasses of red bull in a long line and balanced on top were 50 shots of Jager (like a card pyramid). After a countdown the bar man pushed the first shot glass into the first glass of red bull. This then acted like dominoes and one by one all the shots fell into their glasses below travelling along the train. It really was quite good.We all then got a Jager bomb each. It was then time to go to the World Bar where they serve cocktails in teapots! We also still got 2 for 1 on house drinks. We had a few more drinks and danced on the dance floor before going across the road to try a famous Ferg Burger. It was really delicious. It was then bed time as we were going on a road trip the next day and were up quite early.
