About to make a big call!

Just had the BEST meal of my journey so far!

Not even sure what the Restaurant is. Hang on! I'll get a menu!

...Dionysos (in Atlantis) it's not, so I'm not highlighting that! LOL

GOT A 500ml jug of House wine: local so know it's f***ing fine: guess what? €6! Yep!

And...then ordered the mussels: local, done in spring onions, white wine and lemon! The flavour in my mouth was better than any thing that has entered it in the last 2 years! (For those that know me well, they will get it! )

Absolutely to die for!

As I'm writing this the taste lingers like...well, like, yep! You know!

It is not that I got a jug of vino. And, there is no "view" as such; well, not in Santorini terms: I'm looking over a garden in the Village Centre...so, compared to St Kilda, Glen Huntly, Northcote, Brighton....yes! It's a view!

(Don't get me wrong! I adore all those places! )

There are no words to describe the flavour combinations in these little fellas! If you've never tried mussels (I used to think it ain't a meal) just give em a go! But, as I did, ask for a k*** of crispy on the outside, fluffy in breadsticks! (Well, I just asked for bread...but that ain't poetic! )

It can be used to soak up the juices like a manhunt towel after a glorious session! (Sorry Mum) x

...in short! This has made my day!

I have worked out: I'm not a beach person! I was told the "one" to go to I declined (I will in Mykonos). I'm not a shopping man (although I have enjoyed looking ....at the men being dragged through shops by their impatient girlfriends). I know what I am: I'm a food, wine and chill in the shade type o guy! Suits me well! (I just wish I could fit more delicious food in my belly! How annoying is it that you have to wait between 'courses' or sittings!

...if I were here for more than 2 days I'd be back to have a mussel-gasm again.

But, I'm sure I can find a new experience and a better plate of delicious morsels before my time on the sexy Greek Isles is done!
