With black threatening skies and the steamy atmosphere of the wet, we packed up and headed off down the coast on our return trip South.Our first stop was 80 mile beach for a lovely 3 days of fishing, reading, beach walks and relaxing. Between Broome and Port Hedland is one of the longest beaches in the world, the 80 mile beach. We stopped here for the night to again try our luck at fishing, this time finally, success. Avan managed to hook and land three nice sized threadfin salmon, which were promptly cleaned and eaten, fantastic. While we were cleaning our fish some fellow travellers came up from the beach to announce they had just watched a turtle lay her eggs.
