Hi, Just a few photos from a recent walk, which started in the village of Carlops, about half an hour south of Edinburgh. The route follows the rights of way path, 'Buteland by the Borestane.' A pleasant and easy three hour circular walk took us up to the North Esk Reservoir. The structure was constructed between 1848 and 1850 to produce water for the paper mills. Hi, Check out some pics of a recent cycling trip. This was a short 3-5 mile run along the Devon Way, an old railway line (now a cycle) path from Tilliecoultry to Dollar. The Ochil hills were to our left heading out, with some nice autumn colours in view. Once in Dollar you get a good view up the glen to Castle Campbell. Lunch in Dollar is highly recommended. Murdo

Just a short journey of 170 miles up the A9 to inverness for the marriage of Iain MacKinnon to June Paterson. Service was in Chapel Street FP Church and conducted by Rev. George Hutton. Reception was at Drumossie Hotel which has been upgraded since I was last at a wedding there.
