Hi,

Sometimes you don't need to travel very far to see something unusual or spectacular. I think this applies to my wee jaunt into the town centre of Glasgow with Amanda this afternoon on a bright but very cold day.

Public street art has become a particular feature of the Glasgow scene since about 2008. Tired old buildings, gable ends and aspects of vacent sites have been rejuvenated by some striking and imaginative images.

Most of the murals are grouped within easy walking distances and can be covered in a couple of hours. There is an excellent guide which you can download.
