I completely get why people come here and never want to leave! Had the most fantastic days in Tacoma all with the kind help of Pete, Christine and family. Pete and Christine being neighbours of my Nan and Granddad over 30 years ago we didn't know them at all but they looked after us and showed us some amazing places.

Driving us two hours from their home, where they have kindly given us a bed for three nights, we visit the most amazing sights so far...Mount Rainier!, with great close views of the snowy mountain, climbers, waterfalls and forest wildlife. With the sun still blaring Christine and Pete's son Justine kindly offers to take us both paddle boarding, hesitantly being up for it... we LOVED IT!!!

The weather in this place keeps getting hotter, far too English for this sort of heat!! The R2R relay run which Justin and his wife Jean and friends took part in in 28 degree heat for 51 miles it was a joy to watch whilst sitting on my backside on the grass I was not jealous at all but envy their achievement. Followed with a delicious bbq...we don't want to leave!!!
