In the morning I finished editing my paper and finally sent it off around noon. We did a quick stop at Buttons and Bows, a fabric store I've been to before, so my Mum could get some orange piping to make one of the pillows for Zach. Since we were right there, we also went a couple shops down to the cheese shop. It's tiny and completely filled with all sorts of specialty items (including pickled herring). We picked up some cheese for a fondue we're hoping to have when Zach's in town.
For lunch we went for Pho. While there we realized my parents might not have the fondue pot we needed for the cheese fondue we planned for tomorrow, so we had to phone up Zach and have him pack the fondue pot from home. The rest of the day was a bit of rest. Did some art, looked at some photo albums, and lazed about. I did some baking because Zach really wanted shortbread cookies. My parents went to sing at their Christmas concert after supper. I would have gone with my grandfather if I he was able to, but I was feeling still very sick, so I stayed home. We then went to pick up Zach from the airport late that night. Really nice to see him after only a few days apart. Unfortunately, one of the bottles of wine that he's brought with him had broken. At least it was a white and not a red. So, he had to do some laundry that night. Oh well.
