Finally arrived at 10pm after a long 12 hour journey from Rio Galleogas....including a brief ferry across the infamous ship wreck Magellen Straits and four border crossings going in and out of Chile and back into Argie! But it was totally worth it......and we up staying for a week at the End of the Earth! Ushuaia is the world's most southerly town and the only place on earth where the mountains meet the ocean....it is absolutely amazing, just massive snow...

Arrived safe and sound after our overnight journey in Puerto Madryn which is a lovely little place right on the sea. Hired bikes and attempted to cycle 7km to a sealion sanctuary but were foiled firstly by the gravelly road, secondly by our severe lacking physical fitness and thirdly by Tim's flat tyre....so spent the afternoon wandering round the town and walking on the beach.....discovered this is where the first Welsh settlers arrived in 1865. Spent just three days in Buenos Aires after the woman at the tour office put the fear of god into us and told us to get our arses to Patagonia now before the big freeze!! So spent most of our time trying on wooolly jumpers, hiking boots and long johns for the cold snap ahead! Also the rain followed us from Rosario and it rained non-stop....but luckily we could hang out in our beautiful converted hostel with a marble circular stairway and old metal lift going up...

Spent a very slow week eating and drinking our way down south en route to Buenos Airies.....Stopped in San Ignacio to take a gander at the Jesuit Missions, the ruins were a tad underwhelming but the tiny town was super chilled and relaxing after the high drama of the falls!Next stop...Posadas where we stayed in a dilapitadated old residencial with high ceilings, wooden shutters and extremely dodgy electrics which Tim discovered on touching a live light switch and...

Managed to cross into Argentina legally and without being anally probed which was good. Even got stamps in our passports. This was after our second attempt to get stamps for Paraguay but instead managed to get two entry stamps for Brazil and no exit one because we lost some super important piece of paper and Paraguay actually refused us entry!!
