Hi Guys!

In the Bay of Islands now, staying in a little town called Paihia. Its really nice and small with good beaches and bars....scenery here is lovely! On the 26th I went on a trip up to Cape Reinga, which is the most Northerly point of NZ..pretty cool. Not as touristy as Lands End though...but there is a little lighthouse and a sign with the KM to London etc hehe! Its also where the Tasman sea meets the Pacific so thats cool..sea is awesome! Lots of Maori folk law about this area and its all protected which is good.

On the trip we also when Sandboarding down giant sand dunes which was so much fun, altough there was sand everywhere. We drove down 90 mile beach too which was awesome, took an hour to drive it (its not actually 90 miles though)..stopped off for 'Fush n Chups' on way back. Good day.

Yesterday myself and two girls in my dorm went over on a little boat to a little village called Russel and found a nice beach to sit on...even went in the sea, I wasnt even put off by the increase in Great Whites!!! And today we all walked to some waterfalls but had to hitch a ride back as it was too hot!!! having a bbq on the beaach tonight..sswwweeeet!!
