Hi Guys,

Had a great time in little Wanaka. Reakky sweet little town right next to Lake Wanaka and surrounded by the Southern Alps...great place for a Skydive I feel!!! So first and foremost I will have to talk about the Skydive I did yesterday...30/3/08. It was fantastic..I wasnt as scared as I thought I would be. Only until the doors of the place opened at 12,000ft did I begin to get slight worried. Then before I knew it I was sat on the edge of the plane ( a wierd experience in itself!). I then held on to my harnice for dear life to take a quick photo and then I was hurled out of it!!!

The freefall lasted for 45 seconds but it was fantastic!!!! Really wierd experience and you can hardly breathe the wind is coming at you so fast. It was hilarious though..altough there is lots of swearing on the DVD...but im sorry it was awesome!!! We did lots of spins through the air which made me feel slightly sick but it was still pretty cool!! Then the parachute opened and that too was cool as your just gliding through the air and its so silent..well apart form me screaming 'that was sooo awseome' about 50 times...ah well!! The scenery was magnificent and I was so glad I did it here. You can see all over the southern alps and even Mt Cook with all the snow on top!

Great experience and adrenalin is legal!!! Oh I want to do it again now just talking about it!!

Anyway we had a nice time in Wanaka itself and just did the usual boring tourist stuff! Now we are in Queenstown which is a really cool place and full of backpackers. You can tell its getting nearer to Autumn here...it was freezing this morning as I emerged from our tent!!!!
