So we made it to venice approximately an hour late. Neither of us got much sleep. But we are doing alright today. The airport had self checkout customs for most of the developed world.
We then got ourselves organized and into town we then took a rick Steve’s audio tour on water bus 1 down the grand canal. From there we went to murrano. That island is known for fine glass production. I thought that was pretty cool.
For supper we had a pasta and a drink in a small side canal. I had pasta made with squid ink. Trapper tried it but wasn’t impressed. Truth be told I only thought it alright too.
Trapper really thought Venice, the waterways, the crumbling, and everything was very cool. I also got her her first gelato which really impressed her.
Now we are just trying to stay up until 8pm to get on a normalish sleep schedule. Zzzzzz
