Today was our last day. We did an Airbnb experience. We joined an 8 person van tour of the Amalfi coast. This was totally the right decision. We did another day in Naples today. We started the day by heading out to Herculaneum. It’s story is basically the same as Pompeii but it was smaller and based on how the volcano hit it, it was better preserved. We really got into every nook and cranny and it was awesome. Today was our Pompeii day. It was more amazing than I expected. The historic site was just so huge. I never could have dreamed of the scale. There were numerous homes of people of various classes.
