We did another day in Naples today. We started the day by heading out to Herculaneum. It’s story is basically the same as Pompeii but it was smaller and based on how the volcano hit it, it was better preserved. We really got into every nook and cranny and it was awesome. Today was our Pompeii day. It was more amazing than I expected. The historic site was just so huge. I never could have dreamed of the scale. There were numerous homes of people of various classes. Today we left Rome and headed for Naples in our comfortable business class train seats. Once we arrived, we checked into the Airbnb. It was a bit of a fiasco but we got there and got in. We stopped for lunch on a large square. It had a 1700s palace that now has a number of restraunts operating out of the ground floor. If cleanliness was high it would have been amazing.
